Alright, a new record. 27.500 handcut squares ([link]), done in 11 days (+1 for painting). Pretty pleased with the result. Had some challenges here and there though.
First time using paper in over 1,5 years. Though it's easier to cut, I'm moving back to acetate right away. It's much sturdier, can handle a punch and does NOT (and this is the main thing) require spray adhesive. On the other hand, it does completely fuck up your hands and it eats knives. Oh well.
That said, I'm thinking of moving it to the streets, start doing laaaarge halftones. Not sure if it's possible, but it could be cool. Be sure to check out the black & white version as well: [link]

Now THIS is impressive. I've been getting interested in stencils lately and halftones is something I would also like to tackle (wheatpasting--not so much). I know there are about 3-4 different tutorials on making halftone stencils on Photoshop which is kinda confusing. I want to know what technique you used to make your templates. I also have Rasterbator so I guess I can try and fiddle with that as well.
